The ticket price inlcudes attendance at the event, lunch and refreshments. It does not include accomodation

Your ticket includes 2 days at the conference (13th and 14th May 2025), lunch both days and an evening meal on 13th May at Hertfordshire Zoo. A different delegate from the same BIAZA institution can attend the second day in their place if required. Details of the delegates must be included at time of booking. There will be a gathering at a local pub (tbc) on the evening of the 12th May 2025.

Kindly hosted by West Midlands Safari Park, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo's International Centre for the Care and Conservation of Giraffe is partnering with BIAZA and Behaviour Works to host this second workshop focused on improving welfare for giraffe in zoos. This collaborative Workshop offers an opportunity to gain valuable skills in a variety of topics with content experts pairing lecture material with hands-on opportunities in giraffe training & behaviour, hoof care, environmental enhancements, and leadership/problem solving, as well as a brief look into how enclosure design and management practices can stimulate and encourage natural foraging behaviours and reduce undesired behaviours

The BIAZA Annual Conference will be held at Jimmy’s Farm and Wildlife Park, 17-19 June.

Starting with an evening event on 17 June and finishing with the Gala Dinner on 19 June.

The Gala Dinner is for BIAZA Members only.
